Join us for a casual information session about regional renewables and electrification where you can have all your big questions answered!

Farmers for Climate Action is coming to a town near you with our roadshow: “On-Farm Renewables: Powering Progress Together.”  Join us for a casual information session about regional renewables and electrification where you can have all your big questions answered!

Whether you want to know about the benefits of on-farm batteries, or discuss electrification to be less reliant on gas and diesel, , this event is for you.

Some of the topics we will cover are:

  • On-farm renewables and electrification: Discover how renewables and electrification technologies are transforming agriculture in northern Victoria. Learn how farmers are harnessing the power of renewable energy to drive sustainability and resilience on their farms, and to cut energy costs.
  • Electric Vehicles (EVs) on the horizon: Get a glimpse of the future as we delve into the world of electric vehicles. Explore how EVs are poised to revolutionise transportation in regional communities, reducing emissions and maintenance costs and improving efficiency. You will also hear about the future of electric vehicles on-farm!

We will also have an extensive Q&A session, where you can have all your burning questions about renewables, EVs, on-farm gadgets and more answered by experts in the field. If you have experience with renewable energy or electrification on-farm, we would love to hear about that too, so come along to share your experiences.

Snacks will be provided. We also encourage you to bring along your electric vehicles and electric farm gear to show the group.

Meet Our Speakers:

  • Russell Klose (Electrification Expert): With extensive expertise in electrification, community energy and electric vehicles, Russell will provide a deep dive into the technical aspects of transitioning to cleaner and more efficient energy systems.
  • Local Guest Speakers: Stay tuned for engaging talks from local experts who are driving change and innovation in Northern Victoria.
  • Atienne Bakker (Farmers for Climate Action Community Organiser): A passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture and climate action, Atienne will share valuable insights into Farmers for Climate Action and the work we are doing on regional renewables.

Whether you’re a farmer, a clean energy enthusiast, or simply curious about the future of our region, this event is not to be missed.
