How can Sunraysia farming communities adapt and prosper in a changing climate?

Find out more at the Sunraysia Climate Smart Horticulture Forum, being held at the Benetook Room in Mildura on Wednesday, 5 May 2021.

Hear from experts researching adaptation plans for Sunraysia horticulture, find out about the grants and incentives available to support the uptake of renewables in the region, and work with an experienced community facilitator to develop plans for next steps – on your farm and in your region.

Speakers include:

  • Dr Anne Webster MP (Federal Member for Mallee)
  • Jeremy Giddings (Agriculture Victoria)
  • Nathan Hancock (Citrus Australia)
  • Andrew Young (Wemen farmer)
  • Emily Jones (Farmers for Climate Action)
  • And more

All facilitated by Denis Ginnivan (Events that Matter).

Lunch along with light refreshments at morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

The forum kicks off Farmers for Climate Action’s Victorian Climate-Smart Agriculture Roadshow, which will travel to Castlemaine, Colac, Bairnsdale and Dookie over the next two months.
