The new Federal Government wants to develop a national policy on climate change and agriculture. This is an exciting time for Farmers for Climate Action, as our own farmers told us this was their number one priority for us to address this year.

An effective national policy on climate change and agriculture will allow us to ensure Australian farmers are prepared to deal with the changing climate and able to seize the economic opportunities that come from moving to a low carbon economy.

The policy is a critical way we can ensure a profitable and productive future for Australian agriculture.

As Tasmanian farmers are leading the way on climate-smart farming, we need to hear your vision on what should be included in such a policy.
