We are just getting warmed up with our work in Victoria and would like to invite you along to an introductory meeting.

We will have guest speaker, Charlie Prell, who is the Chair of Farmers for Climate Action and was the NSW Regional Organiser for the Australian Wind Alliance for five years.

Charlie is a fourth-generation family farmer from Crookwell in NSW. He is passionate about farming and the need for strong action on climate change in Australia.

We will cover an introduction to FCA, what we do and how you can work with us in Victoria.

It’s easy to get involved and there is something for everyone. We have a diverse network of farmers already active in Victoria and that is growing, so it’s an exciting time to get involved.

You don’t have to be a farmer to come along, we need committed community members too. Everyone is welcome and everyone is needed!

Guest Speaker

Charlie Prell

Charlie Prell is the Deputy Chair of Farmers for Climate Action and was the NSW Regional Organiser for the Australian Wind Alliance for five years. He has promoted the roll out of wind farms and the benefits they bring to regional communities for more than 15 years.

He actively supports the concept of benefit sharing, whereby regional communities receive a fair share of the profits generated by renewables and this income is distributed transparently, widely and equitably within those communities.

Charlie is a fourth-generation family farmer from Crookwell in NSW. He is passionate about farming and this passion now includes the need for strong action on climate change in Australia. He is a committed member of the Crookwell community and actively contributes to many local causes.
