Over 50 farmers in the Eden-Monaro electorate have signed an open letter calling on candidates in the by-election to act urgently on climate change.

These farmers have dealt with most devastating bushfires in living memory, droughts and floods – all in the last year. They can’t afford to have a Member of Parliament who doesn’t take climate change seriously.

They need a Member of Parliament who is part of the climate solution: someone who will be a champion for the new jobs, the new industries and the new investment that will flow to their region as a result of acting on climate change.
