Will you help us take Australian farmer stories to the world at COP28?

We’ve been given the opportunity to produce a short film that will be taken to COP28 in Dubai in December, capturing climate-smart farming stories from Australian producers.

Highlighting personal experiences, challenges and opportunities, this is a chance to ensure the voices of Australian farmers are heard within the world’s largest climate conversation.

We’re committed to capturing stories from a diverse group of farming communities across the country – however, as I am sure you can imagine, sending a film crew to different corners of rural Australia is not a simple exercise. That’s where we need your help!

Can you donate today to help us make the film a reality?

COP28 climate talks are where global leaders come together to collectively coordinate a plan to limit the rise of global temperatures. Australia’s agricultural communities have already experienced the devastating effects a changing climate is having on our livelihoods and those that rely on it.

It’s crucial that those most affected are given the opportunity to share our experiences and our wisdom within such an important forum.

Your donation will directly contribute to capturing the voices of Australian farmers, our unique experiences, optimism and spirit. Please help us package up this powerful message in video form and take it to the world.

From Jody in Longreach grazing across 45,000 acres using innovations in landscape management, to Peter in Ulmarra who’s responding to floods and now drought in the space of a year, to Caitlin in Toolgoolawah whose family has expanded their business into agrivoltaics – these are some of the stories of Australian farmers we want to showcase to politicians, policy-makers and industry reps at COP28.
