Industry leadership

We’re back at Parliament House in Canberra once again on Wednesday, helping launch Climate Proofing Australia (CPA)  Alliance, a coalition of industry groups joining forces to encourage a collaborative land management approach to Australia’s climate change mitigation strategy.

We’re one of the founding members of this important initiative, alongside the Red Meat Advisory Council (RMAC), Australian Forest Products Association (AFPA) and Greening Australia.

Guest speakers at the launch will include Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources, David Littleproud, Shadow Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Joel Fitzgibbon and Shadow Minister for Climate Change & Energy, Mark Butler.

We believe industry has a critical role to play in driving climate action, and that this initiative in particular has the potential to achieve lasting change.
